July 2010 WISH TV 8 - "State helping Hoosiers facing foreclosure" -- WISH TV Channel 8 has filed a story regarding the Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network on its website. Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic housing attorney Brian Dunkel was interviewed for the story and featured on the telecast.

Note: The article illustrates a growing trend of doctors forming partnerships with lawyers to address patients' social and economic issues that could impact their health. A number of the Clinic's services and community partnerships are used as examples in the story. For years, the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic has worked with medical organizations like the St. Francis Neighborhood Health Center and Wishard Hospital's Pecar Health Center to serve the full spectrum of client needs.

Note: Family Law Staff Attorney Merryn Gluys played an essential role in the case. Mrs. Gluys assisted Ms. Rodriguez in establishing paternity and obtaining an enforceable custody order in the State circuit court. This acted as a springboard for federal authorities to enter Mexico, recover the abducted children, and prosecute the father.
