Description: The intern will accompany the financial counselor during initial appointments, perform basic data entry and excel analysis, and create educational materials for financial counseling clients. The intern will be supervised by Angie Simmons, Financial Counselor.
The goals of this internship are to introduce an intern to the Financial Counseling Program and to provide a deeper understanding of Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic’s prophetic call to “Seek justice, defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow” (Isaiah 1:17).
Qualifications: Undergraduate students. Prior experience or coursework in finance or social work is preferred but not required.
