Description: The intern will review client documents and work with clients to ensure that all of their materials are provided as it relates to their mortgage/housing and financial situation. Track and manage clients via Excel spreadsheets. Arrange clients documents per lender/housing counselor specifications and calculate ratios and budgets for prospective clients. The intern will be supervised by Jill Knight Housing Counselor.
The goals of this internship are to introduce an intern to the Housing Program and to provide a deeper understanding of Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic’s prophetic call to “Seek justice, defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow” (Isaiah 1:17).
Qualifications: Undergraduate students. Finance, business or accounting majors are preferred.
