In partnership with Exodus Refugee Immigration, Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic will be hosting Refugee Adjustment Day on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Refugee Adjustment Day (RAD) aims to address a growing need in the Indianapolis immigrant community -- that of helping refugees apply for permanent residency without the financial burden of hiring private attorneys. Volunteering this Saturday provides a chance to be part of one of the most significant milestones of many refugees' lives.

Rachel Van Tyle, Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic Staff Attorney, will deliver a presentation on how to appropriately complete forms I-485 and G-28. Sara Hindi, Case Manager at Exodus Refugee Immigration will give a presentation on Refugee Resettlement 101.

Volunteer opportunities are available for attorneys (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and interpreters (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM) Burmese, Arabic, French, Spanish, Hakha Chin, Karen, Karenni, Tigrinya, Amharic.
