Hello Volunteers!

What an amazing week last week. We had our Tastings & Trivia event at Fountain Square Brewery on Monday and an Indy Indians baseball game on Friday. At both events we had over 70 people attend which was an excellent way to celebrate the Clinic's 20 years of service. If you were able to join us at either of our events, I hope you had a good time and thanks for coming. Keep a look out for more info about our Volunteer Appreciation Event coming up July 10th at Garfield Park Arts Center.

As the Clinic goes into the third week of the Summer Internship Program things are running smoothly and we are enjoying this time of getting to know our awesome, hardworking interns. As always we continue to need your volunteer support. Attorneys, we could really use your help with Bankruptcy Case Referrals, so please consider taking a case if you can. Spanish Interpreters, your help would be greatly appreciated at our intake locations. And last, but certainly not least, we need Prayer Partners willing to pray with clients at our intakes. Please email me if you can help and let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your time and support,

Erin Hougland
Volunteer Coordinator

Attorneys: We currently have 6 Bankruptcy case referrals that need Volunteer Attorney support. All cases have been reviewed by our staff attorneys and have been approved for Volunteer Attorney referral.

Is there a case type you can help with? Please let me know, as we are always in need of Volunteer Attorneys who can take case referrals for a legal area the Clinic does not have the resources to support.

Interpreters:We are also looking for Spanish speaking volunteers who can assist as interpreters for volunteer attorney case referrals. This work can be done online or over the phone and is flexible enough for people who have busy schedules. Please consider helping out with your second language skills. For more information contact Erin.

We are in need of Spanish language interpreter support at our intake locations. 2 hours a month, on a regular basis:

St. Vincent intake: Mondays from 4pm-6pm Shepherd Community Center: 1st & 3rd Saturdays 9am-11am La Plaza: 1st & 3rd Fridays 2pm-4pm

PrayerPartners: Interested in joining us in praying for our clients and partnering agencies? Want to be a part of our prayer list? Email ehougland@nclegalclinic.org
