Goodbye, April!

We've been celebrating National Volunteer Appreciation Week on Facebook by sharing old stories from the blog about some of our best and hardest-working volunteers. This month, we shared a new story about a volunteer attorney named Tim Fox, who is always committed to going "Above and Beyond" for our clients. We then met a recent employee of the Clinic, Jim Floyd, who started out as a volunteer for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.

Our amazing partners are also front and center this month as we look at Northview Church and the Clinic's burgeoning partnership with them. And just last week, a good portion of our staff was able to attend Outreach, Inc.'s grand opening of their new Program Center, which will help them to better serve homeless youth in Indianapolis. On the blog, we shared the story of a teenager who was abandoned by his father and who found the Clinic thanks to our relationship with Outreach through our Homeless Youth Justice Program.

We are so grateful for our many volunteers and for our partner organizations. So much of what the Clinic does would not be possible without you!

Be sure to check back in next week, as we share a new post from Executive Director Chris Purnell on Monday. And in the meantime, goodbye, April!
