Until We Meet Again, May!

This May, Executive Director Chris Purnell shared some of his thoughts on the concept of peace. We also celebrated Mother's Day by learning the stories of three different Clinic clients who are fighting to give the best possible life to their children.

We introduced you to Emily Bricker, the new Program Manager for the Immigrant Justice Program (IJP), and learned more about her heart for refugees and immigrants. We also followed the ongoing IJP case of a young man from El Salvador who witnessed the murder of his friend and who is now seeking Asylum in the United States.

This coming June, we'll be sharing the next episode of our Courting Justice podcast, featuring our friends at Brackets For Good as we talk about the future of nonprofit fundraising. You also have the opportunity to support the Clinic two times this coming month, with a Give Back night on June 22 at Handel's Ice Cream & Yogurt Carmel and Fishersand again on June 27th with Byrne's Grilled Pizza. Live it up this summer with the Clinic and our generous community sponsors! We can't wait to see you there!

Until we meet again, May!
