February Highlights

This February, Director of Legal Services Brian Dunkel wrote a message to followers about what it really means to love your neighbor and how our new client intakes are the first step in that process for the Clinic. We then dug in deep with Ft. Wayne Director Desiree Koger-Gustafson, learning how she changed her path from a medical career to a legal career.

For Valentine's Day, the whole staff shared our hearts with our readers--including all the things we love, like your support!

On the blog this month, we also launched a new quarterly interview series called Open Book that seeks to familiarize our readers with local thought leaders, as well as with relevant issues in the nonprofit and social justice worlds. The subject of our first interview is none other than Clinic Executive Director Chris Purnell! Which local thought leader should we interview next?

As we move into March, we also move into Brackets For Good 2018! If you need a quick recap, BFG is a March Madness brackets-style competition where the Clinic goes head-to-head with other nonprofits in town. Whichever nonprofit raises the most money in a week moves onto the next round and onto the chance to win an extra $10,000 for the whole competition. Tip-off is this Friday, March 2 at 8:00 PM and Round 1 goes until 7:59:59 PM on Friday, March 9. Every dollar you donate to the Clinic through the BFG website during this time equals one point for #TeamJustice!

Make sure you're registered now so you can start scoring points for #TeamJustice as we go against FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic in Round 1! And don't forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to see how you can get in the game each week! There will be humorous videos, fun photos, and watch parties for you to attend! Thanks for being on our team!
