The CLE will be taught by Clinic Staff Attorney Angelin Fisher, who has 15 years of experience in a variety of areas of immigration law.

2-credit virtual ethics CLE overview on the ethics compliant process, including suggested tools for resolving legal ethics questions before they become complaints. This CLE will examine Rules of Professional Conduct and foundational concepts from 12-step programs.

Virtual CLE | U Visa 101: From Beginning to Approval
Join Immigration Attorney Henry Moellring for an introductory examination of the factors involved in each U Visa application as well as recent policy changes as of the summer of 2021. This 1-credit CLE will be conducted via Zoom.

This 1-hour CLE will provide an overview of Indiana’s Expungement Law, covering the categories for expungement, eligibility criteria, and excluded offenses. It will also review the law’s impact on employment discrimination. The speaker will show sample petitions and orders and give practical tips for filing expungements on behalf of clients.

The immigration law and policy landscape shifted in major ways over the last few years under the Trump administration. Join Immigration Attorney Laura Pontius as we examine the changes that have been made as well as changes to expect in the years ahead under the Biden administration.

Virtual Tax CLE | IRS Collections: Process and Alternatives | 1 Credit
Tax season is here! Join the Clinic's Director of Tax and Economic Justice to explore important tax legal themes. This virtual CLE will discuss how the IRS collects outstanding tax liabilities and the process it uses. It will also discuss the following collection alternatives: (1) Installments Agreements; (2) Currently Not Collective Status; and (3) Offers in Compromise.
