Course Description
In this online CLE webinar, Clinic Staff Attorney Erica Harrigan will provide an overview of self-petitions under VAWA, the Violence Against Women Act. She will discuss the basics of an application, evidence to include, and strategies for Requests for Evidence. This presentation will also cover the latest updates to this form of relief and rare fact patterns that could lead to eligibility under VAWA.

Presenter Bio
Erica Harrigan spent a number of her early years growing up in Indiana and returned to the state to practice law after graduating from Regent University School of Law. Following graduation, Erica joined the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic as a staff attorney for the Victim Justice Program. Her practice primarily focuses on seeking immigration relief for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
