The Indiana Attorney General has an unclaimed property division that holds “unclaimed” financial assets, such as unclaimed wages, bank accounts that have gone dormant due to inactivity, abandoned safe deposit contents, unclaimed refunds, and more. There is currently somewhere between $800 and $850 million that remains unclaimed in Indiana.
